The Drake is a new, dual theatre facility in the heart of Center City. Once the ballroom of the historic Drake Apartments, The Drake hosts 250+ performances of world and Philadelphia premiere productions, new play readings and workshops, classes, and public conversations for over 18,000 patrons annually. With support from PNC Arts Alive, The Drake Resident Partners are making it easier than ever to see new plays.

PNC at The Drake is an outreach to meet new audiences and break down financial barriers to see plays. The Drake Card connects you to four resident theater companies at The Drake for an entirely pay-what-you-decide theatrical season experience. Located right off the Walnut/Locust stop on the Broad Street Line, The Drake is probably a lot easier to get to than you thought.

Take a ride. Give us a try. Pay what you decide.

The Drake Card

What is The Drake Card for?

The Drake Card is your personal pay-what-you-decide ticket for four shows by the Resident Partners at The Drake (Azuka Theatre, Inis Nua Theatre Company, InterAct Theatre Company, and Simpatico Theatre). With your card you can see one pay-what-you-decide show per theater company.

How do I get a Drake Card?

Show up to any of our PNC Events! We will have one a month from February-May, 2019. Events are in a different part of the Greater Philadelphia Area each time and hosted by organizations and groups in those communities. There will be complimentary snacks, excerpts of our upcoming shows, and representatives from all four Resident Partner theater companies there to sign you up for a Card and answer any questions you might have. There is no reservation required to attend these events.

What does a Drake Card cost?

Nothing. Thanks to PNC Arts Alive, it is free for you to sign up for your Card; all we need is your name and email or phone number, which will only be used to contact you about reminders or any updates on the show you’d like to see. Your information will be kept private.

How do I reserve a ticket with my Drake Card?

Call the number on the back of your Drake Card or contact the theater company whose show you would like to see directly. Tell them you have a Card and give them your ID number on the back of it. It’s that easy! After you see the show, you can decide how much you would like to pay.

How long does my Drake Card last?

Your Drake Card expires after you have used it to see four shows or when we come to the end of the 2018-2019 theatrical season (June 2019).
